I wanted to write a little something about my favorite item-
the Jean 😆!

I am the biggest fan of denim; jeans, jumpsuits, and dresses especially!! Although the "jean" is a staple in everyone's wardrobe and most of us wear jeans, if not daily, then definitely weekly...sometimes we are confused!

Confused about a number of things, like:
Which jeans to wear for what occasion
Which jeans do I wear with what shoes?
Which jeans are most flattering for my body type?
Which jeans are "in" and which are "out"?
Which wash (or color) is most suitable for dinner,
Or which is considered too casual?
Can I wear white jeans after Labor Day?
Are low rise jeans in?
Are black jeans still a thing?
What is my actual denim size?

So these are my answers based on my experience and, quite frankly, my humble opinion 😎.

Most of us overthink all of this! It doesn't have to be so hard! White after Labor Day is actually cool, so do it!

Your jeans should be slightly uncomfortable in the store; if they are comfortable before you buy them, they are too big for you.

Black jeans will always be a thing.
Just because something is cool or "in" doesn't mean it's right. Sometimes the trends just aren't for all of us. If
you don't feel comfortable in it; chances are it might not be for you.

Light denim doesn't always mean casual and dark denim isn't always dressy. Dark denim is definitely coming back but for a little while it felt very outdated.

Below, are 3 images of 3 different ways to wear denim with boots.
We are very often asked "How am I supposed to wear boots with the denim styles that are being shown right now?".
- A Straight bootcut jean OVER a bootie always works!
- A Skinny over OR inside a bootie always works!
- And as long as your jean fits nicely inside the boots, that works too!

Below, is my opinion of what not to do; It just looks messy.

The pictures below are 3 different, but perfect, ways to do denim with a sneaker.  The length of the jeans hits at the perfect spot.  Sometimes, if the jeans are a little longer and the sneakers are a little shorter, like a SAMBA, then there will be a little "bunching" and that's okay as long as the sneaker you are wearing isn't chunky.
(Even though the kids these days would disagree 😜. )

We took a few pictures of different denim styles with different shoes.
This is, of course, just my opinion; but...
ALL jeans look good with pumps
MOST jeans look good with sneakers
SOME jeans look good with booties
And not too many jeans look good with flip flops.
